Forum Title: Pitt tech + Breakthrough combo
Hey Gents! I have two small projects for which I'm considering using Pitt tech plus primer then top coat with Breakthrough and I would love to hear what you have to say about this. Let me know if you have better suggestions for any of those. First one is a exterior hand rail in metal, on which there's rust that I'll grind off first. I usually use rust colour anti rust oil primer then top coat with anti rust oil paint. However, the use of these products would allow me to do the job all on the same day. Second one is also an exterior hand rail, but galvanized. I would slight scratch it first with 80 grade sand paper, then pressure wash then apply the products. Regards!

Both will work, the Pitt tech primer finish is not the best choice for rust but if you clean it all first it will work. Vinegar wash the galvanized railing before power washing
