Forum Title: Another kitchen cabinet question.
Hello fellow painters, I have always hand painted kitchen cabinet doors with a brush, but I have a large job booked in next week and thought I would try my hand at spraying them. I want to paint the doors without removing them from their hinges, and was wondering how you mask the hinges and surrounding area quickly and efficiently. The cabinets have a mahogany stain/ varnish on them at the moment and the homeowner wants a satin enamel painted finish. thanks in advance. Brian.

Spraying cabinets usually includes removal of all hinges, and handles/pulls. Label all the doors and hinges for easy reassembly. I've never tried spraying in place, so I'm sorry that I can't help you there.
